Demand Response
Accounts enrolled in our demand response program earn significant capacity payments by agreeing to reduce their electric demand if called upon during times of high use. By reducing energy consumption at these critical times it helps stabilize the electric grid and minimizes the chance of an outage or “black out”. The payment amount depends on how much demand can be reduced and where the service is located. Additional payments can be earned if an actual demand response event occurs. We will develop a curtailment plan to best suit your energy needs. There are no costs for enrollment and customers able to curtail more than 100 kW are eligible.
